About the RoleWe're looking for a Category Manager to own the performance and growth of one of our core product categories. You'll run the category like a business within the business, deciding what we sell, how we price it, where it's sold, and how it grows. You'll work closely with marketing, supply chain, product, sales, and finance to turn customer insight into revenue and margin.

What You'll Do

  • Own the category P&L. Drive revenue, gross margin, and contribution targets, and track performance weekly with clear actions when numbers slip.
  • Build the category strategy. Define the annual roadmap covering assortment, pricing, new launches, and channel priorities, grounded in market data and customer research.
  • Manage the assortment. Decide which SKUs to add, keep, or retire based on sell-through, margin, and customer demand.
  • Set pricing and promotions. Build pricing architecture across channels, plan promotional calendars, and measure the real impact of every discount.
  • Lead product launches. Work with product and R&D to take new products from concept through costing, positioning, and go-to-market.
  • Manage vendors and suppliers. Negotiate costs, terms, and timelines, and build partnerships that improve quality and margin.
  • Plan inventory with supply chain. Forecast demand, prevent stockouts and excess stock, and keep working capital healthy.
  • Drive channel performance. Optimize listings, content, and visibility across our website, marketplaces, quick commerce, and offline retail.
  • Track competitors and the market. Monitor competitor pricing, launches, and market share, and turn those insights into action.What We're Looking For
  • 4–7 years of experience in category management, product management, or brand management, ideally in FMCG, consumer durables, D2C, or e-commerce
  • A proven track record of owning and delivering revenue or margin targets
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus
  • Solid understanding of pricing, unit economics, and P&L management
  • Experience negotiating with vendors or managing marketplace relationships
  • A clear communicator who can align cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • MBA preferred but not requiredNice to Have
  • Experience scaling a category on marketplaces or quick commerce platforms
  • Hands-on experience launching new products end to end
