Job Summary
We are looking for a CRS (Continuous Replenishment System) Consultant with a strong understanding of CPG/FMCG distribution, inventory management, and replenishment processes. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technology solutions, supporting the design and implementation of data-driven replenishment strategies to improve inventory availability, optimize stock levels, and enhance supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities
● Understand CPG/FMCG distribution processes, inventory management, and replenishment business requirements.
● Analyze demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and continuous replenishment processes across distributors and retail channels.
● Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
● Define business rules, KPIs, and performance metrics to measure replenishment effectiveness, inventory availability, and supply chain efficiency. ● Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and supply chain experts to translate requirements into functional solutions.
● Support the design and enhancement of replenishment solutions using data-driven insights and AI/ML-enabled capabilities.
● Understand integration requirements between CRS, Distributor Management Systems (DMS), ERP platforms, and other supply chain applications.
● Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support solution testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation.
● Analyze business data and operational performance to identify opportunities for improved forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, and reduced stockouts.
● Prepare functional documentation, process maps, solution workflows, and stakeholder presentations. Required Skills & Experience
● Strong understanding of CPG/FMCG distribution, inventory management, and replenishment processes.
● Experience in business analysis, product management, supply chain consulting, or related solution delivery.
● Knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory optimization, stock replenishment strategies, and supply chain planning.
● Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their applications in forecasting and replenishment.
● Proficiency in requirement gathering, functional documentation, process mapping, user stories, and KPI definition.
● Understanding of DMS/ERP integrations, data flows, and data-driven decision-making.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working with FMCG/CPG organizations, distributors, retailers, or supply chain technology providers.
● Exposure to continuous replenishment systems, inventory planning tools, or demand planning solutions.
● Familiarity with Agile methodologies, product development life cycles, and UAT.
● Experience with data analytics, dashboards, and supply chain performance reporting.
