Lead Software Engineer

The candidate will be responsible for enhancing existing Java applications, implementing new business requirements, resolving production issues, and improving application performance, stability, and maintainability. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Core Java, JSP , Spring Boot, SQL, and application enhancement/support, along with good debugging and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing Java applications and understand business and technical requirements. Develop and implement application enhancements and new functionalities. Modify and optimize existing code while maintaining application stability. Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and provide effective fixes. Work with SQL databases to develop queries, stored procedures, and troubleshoot data-related issues. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming concepts. Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Experience with Git and standard software development practices. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of application enhancement and production support processes. Good to Have Experience with GCP. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
