Senior Mendix Developer

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mendix Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of robust enterprise applications within our IT Services sector. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your advanced expertise in the Mendix low-code platform to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value. The position demands a professional capable of managing the full application lifecycle, from initial concept through to cloud-based production, while ensuring strict adherence to security protocols and agile methodologies. Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute end-to-end application development lifecycles using the Mendix platform.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex integrations utilizing REST and SOAP APIs alongside relational database structures.
  • Implement and oversee cloud deployment strategies involving Java and JavaScript custom code modules.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous standards for application security, version control, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams to manage source control, perform thorough testing, and ensure rapid, high-quality delivery of features.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship while ensuring all development practices align with industry best practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Possess 6 to 8 years of professional software development experience, with a significant portion dedicated to Mendix.
  • Hold an Advanced or Expert-level Mendix certification as a mandatory credential.
  • Demonstrate deep proficiency in Agile development frameworks, source control systems, and automated testing environments.
  • Exhibit strong command over cloud deployment mechanisms, including the ability to write and debug custom Java and JavaScript code within the Mendix environment.
  • Show proven expertise in building secure applications and managing their entire lifecycle from development to production.
  • Be adept at designing and integrating complex data models with external systems via REST and SOAP interfaces.
