About the RoleZAPS Group is looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and backend development, with a focus on building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and deploy microservices and secure RESTful APIs.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.
• Follow secure coding practices and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and address security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Support CI/CD practices and ensure reliable software delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in MySQL and MongoDB.
• Understanding of secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and data protection.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Added Advantages

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
