About the Role

We are looking for a Software Tech Lead with deep technical expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly .NET and Azure, who can own both hands-on engineering and client-facing solutioning. This is a hybrid role for someone who can lead a development team, design robust architectures, and represent the company in front of clients and prospects. You will work closely with the Sales team to shape technical proposals, support client pitches, and turn business requirements into viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, driving code quality, design standards, and delivery best practices.
• Architect and design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs) and the broader Microsoft stack.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, including requirement discussions, architecture walkthroughs, and technical escalations.
• Partner with the Sales team during client pitches to provide technical solutioning, effort estimation, and feasibility assessments.
• Build proofs of concept (POCs) to validate approaches and demonstrate capabilities to prospective clients.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), solution proposals, and architecture diagrams.
• Review code and technical designs, ensuring alignment with best practices, performance, and security standards.
• Drive sprint planning, estimation, risk identification, and project governance in collaboration with delivery and product teams.
• Stay current with Microsoft and Azure technology trends and recommend adoption where it adds business value.Required Qualifications and Skills
• 8–10 years of overall software development experience, with significant time in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in .NET / .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core, and Web API development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including cloud architecture, deployment, and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL) and familiarity with NoSQL options.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Proven experience designing solution architectures for enterprise or product-based systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior client stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work with sales or pre-sales teams on proposals, estimations, and technical pitches.
• Experience authoring SOWs, technical proposals, or POC plans is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solutioning mindset focused on business outcomes.Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor) is a plus.
• Exposure to microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures.
• Prior experience in a client-facing consulting or services organization.
