Role: AI Tech Lead

Experience: 8+ years in Software Engineering, with 3+ years in AI/ML/GenAI Engineering Leadership

Location: Pune

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AI Tech Lead to lead hands-on engineering and technical delivery of AI-powered solutions. The role involves developing Python services and AI agents, integrating Azure AI technologies, and ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable application development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Translate architecture into actionable engineering plans and guide technical implementation.
• AI & Agent Development: Develop and review Python services, AI agents, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
• Azure AI Integration: Build AI solutions using Azure OpenAI SDK/APIs, Microsoft Foundry, and Agent Framework.
• Application Integration: Develop REST/async APIs and guide React.js UI integration.
• Code Quality & Testing: Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement automated testing and AI evaluation.
• Delivery & Security: Troubleshoot complex issues, manage engineering dependencies, and ensure secure, reliable releases.
• Monitoring: Implement logging, observability, and maintain a technical debt register.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in AI/ML/GenAI engineering leadership.
• Expert proficiency in Python and experience with Azure OpenAI SDK/APIs.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Foundry, Agent Framework, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Experience with REST/async APIs and React.js integration.
• Familiarity with automated testing, AI evaluation, Git, containers, secure coding, and observability.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
