Job Description

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead products and capabilities that measure national and local television audiences across linear broadcast, cable, and streaming environments. This role sits at the intersection of media measurement, data science, technology, and client needs—turning complex viewing signals into trusted, actionable audience insights for programmers, advertisers, agencies, and other media stakeholders.

The ideal candidate understands how television is bought, sold, distributed, and measured across fragmented platforms. You will define product strategy, translate industry requirements into an actionable roadmap, and guide cross-functional teams from concept through launch and ongoing improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for cross-platform television audience measurement capabilities spanning national and local markets.
  • Translate customer, market, and regulatory needs into clear product requirements, success metrics, and prioritized investments.
  • Partner with data science, engineering, research, operations, sales, and customer success to deliver scalable, reliable measurement products.
  • Drive measurement solutions across linear and streaming environments, including audience estimates, reach and frequency, impressions, demographic reporting, time-shifted viewing, and deduplicated cross-platform audiences.
  • Evaluate the integration and use of viewing data from panels, return-path data, set-top boxes, smart TVs, streaming platforms, and other data sources while maintaining methodological rigor.
  • Lead discovery with clients and industry stakeholders to identify unmet needs and validate product direction.
  • Define operating models and quality standards that support data accuracy, comparability, transparency, and timely delivery across national and local markets.
  • Communicate product vision, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Mentor product managers and contribute to stronger product practices, decision frameworks, and team development.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, media measurement, audience analytics, advertising technology, streaming, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience taking data-intensive products from strategy and discovery through delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of television and video ecosystems, including broadcast, cable, streaming, connected TV, local markets, ad-supported programming, and media buying.
  • Familiarity with audience measurement concepts such as ratings, share, reach, frequency, impressions, demographics, viewing duration, co-viewing, time shifting, and cross-platform duplication.
  • Experience working with large-scale data sets, data partnerships, APIs, and/or analytical platforms; comfort partnering deeply with technical teams.
  • Ability to balance methodological integrity, customer value, operational feasibility, and commercial priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience influencing without direct authority in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

Success in this role

In the first year, you will establish a clear roadmap for cross-platform television measurement, strengthen alignment between customer needs and delivery teams, and launch improvements that increase trust, usability, and coverage across national and local audiences.

Why join us

You will help shape the next generation of television audience measurement as viewing continues to fragment across traditional and streaming platforms. This is an opportunity to influence an industry-critical product area, work with sophisticated data and technology, and make measurement more transparent, comparable, and useful for the marketplace.
