About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, and database administration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing enterprise applications while managing database-related activities and supporting system administration requirements.

Candidates with relevant experience in both Java backend development and database/system administration will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and J2EE.
  • Build backend components using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Work with PostgreSQL databases and PL/SQL for database-related operations.
  • Perform database administration activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, backup, and recovery, as applicable.
  • Handle system administration activities and resolve application or system-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot application defects, database errors, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Work with development tools such as Eclipse, NetBeans, Spring Tool Suite (STS), or JBoss Developer Studio.
  • Maintain and enhance web application components using JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, AngularJS, JSON, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Ensure application reliability, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java and J2EE.
  • Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Practical experience with PostgreSQL and working knowledge of PL/SQL.
  • Relevant experience in Database Administration (DBA) and System Administration.
  • Experience troubleshooting database, application, and system-related issues.
  • Familiarity with Eclipse, NetBeans, STS, or JBoss Developer Studio.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, AngularJS, JSON, HTML5, and CSS.

Educational Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science & Information Technology, or Computer Applications; MCA; or a four-year B.Sc. in Computer Science Engineering.

The qualification must be from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution or meet the equivalent qualification requirements under applicable Government of India rules.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong experience in Java/J2EE application development.
  • Hands-on exposure to PostgreSQL and database-related activities.
  • Relevant DBA and System Administration experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a technically strong professional who can independently develop Java applications, work with PostgreSQL databases, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and support database and system administration activities.
