Ananant is hiring a Founders' Office Associate to own government programmes, partnerships, product input, contracts and marketing, working directly with the CEO and CTO.

ABOUT ANANANT

Ananant Systems is an Indian deep-tech semiconductor company. We design chips for small-cell 4G/5G and camera applications, with teams in Bengaluru, Noida and San Diego. We are backed by venture capital and by national semiconductor programmes, and we are growing several-fold over the next 18 months.

THE ROLE

Outside engineering, Ananant depends on three things: the government programmes it wins, the customers and partners who adopt its chips, and its standing in the market. This role owns all three.

You will work directly with the CEO and CTO. You represent Ananant to government, partners and customers, and bring what you learn from them back into the company.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Government programmes. Identify, apply for and deliver government semiconductor and R&D programmes: applications, milestones, reporting and compliance, and the working relationship with the ministries and agencies involved.
Partnerships and lead customers. Build and manage the pipeline of strategic partners and lead customers, and track every commitment made to them.
Product and market. Bring customer requirements, market information and competitive analysis into product decisions, and build the business case for new opportunities.
Contracts. Manage customer, partner, vendor and government agreements through review, approval and signature, working with our law firm. Maintain the contract register, renewals and obligations.
Marketing. Own positioning, collateral, the website and our presence at industry events.

WHAT YOU WILL DELIVER

Expected outcomes in the first year:

Government programmes won, with every report and milestone under them delivered on time.
Partnerships signed and lead customers evaluating our chips.
Customer and market input feeding product decisions on a regular basis.
A complete and current contract register, with no missed renewals or obligations.
Consistent positioning and collateral in use with customers, partners and government.

WHY THIS ROLE

Scope. Government, customers, product, contracts and marketing in one role, each being set up for the first time.
Direct access. You work with the CEO and CTO directly, on decisions that matter to the company.
Sector exposure. You will build relationships and expertise across Indian semiconductor policy, customers and partners.
A path to leadership. The role is expected to grow into leading a function as the company scales.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

1 to 5 years of experience. Comfortable both in meetings with senior government officials and partners, and in building financial models. Clear writer, strong with numbers, and able to run work end to end with limited supervision.

You bring:

Strong Excel modelling and a solid grasp of business financials: P&L, cash flow, budgets and unit economics.
Working knowledge of compliance and audits.
Clear, persuasive writing and presentation for formal audiences.
Daily, hands-on use of AI tools.
Ability to represent the company with senior officials, partners and customers.

It helps if you have:

An MBA, ideally with a consulting background.
Founder or early-stage startup experience.
An engineering degree, or experience in semiconductors, telecom or deep tech.
Experience with Indian government programmes, public-sector stakeholders, or commercial contracts.
