Job Summary:

  • Client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to support the rebuilding and modernization of two existing SharePoint sites. This resource will be responsible for redesigning the sites to improve their overall look, functionality, and user experience.
  • The ideal candidate will bring a combination of SharePoint design and hands-on development experience, including the ability to customize SharePoint using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and develop workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Rebuild and modernize two existing SharePoint sites, incorporating updated branding, visual design, and improved user experiences.
  • Redesign SharePoint page layouts, navigation, content organization, and overall site structure.
  • Develop and implement custom SharePoint functionality using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Design, build, and enhance custom SharePoint web parts and components as needed.
  • Develop and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate.
  • Integrate workflows and functionality across SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 applications as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, branding guidelines, and functional expectations.
  • Test and troubleshoot site functionality, custom components, and automated workflows.
  • Ensure the redesigned sites are user-friendly, maintainable, and aligned with modern SharePoint development standards.

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience designing, rebuilding, and customizing SharePoint Online sites.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
  • Experience developing custom SharePoint web parts and components.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and workflow automation.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint site architecture, page layouts, navigation, and customization.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Ability to translate business requirements and branding guidelines into functional SharePoint solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within a short-term project engagement.
