React Native Developer
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer to lead and execute the development of high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional product, design, and backend teams to build intuitive user interfaces, integrate native device capabilities, optimize app responsiveness, and maintain release pipelines across mobile app stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Feature Delivery: Architect, build, and maintain clean, scalable cross-platform applications using React Native and TypeScript.
- UI/UX Implementation: Translate Figma/Sketch UI/UX prototypes into fluid, accessible, and pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.
- API & Service Integration: Integrate RESTful, GraphQL, or WebSocket backend services and third-party SDKs (analytics, payment gateways, push notifications).
- Platform Bridging & Native Modules: Bridge native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) APIs into React Native when required.
- Performance Tuning: Profile and optimize mobile performance, addressing memory leaks, smooth 60fps animations, layout thrashing, and bundle sizes.
- CI/CD & Store Deployment: Manage end-to-end publishing pipelines, signing, and compliance for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Code Health & Testing: Write unit and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest, React Native Testing Library, and Detox/Maestro to ensure high stability and low crash rates.
- Core Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 6+ years of professional mobile development experience, with at least 4+ years dedicated to React Native.
- Language & Frameworks: Deep proficiency in React Native, modern React (Hooks, Context), TypeScript, and ES6+ JavaScript.
- State Management: Hands-on experience with modern state architectures (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query, or Recoil).
- Tooling & Ecosystem: Working knowledge of Metro bundler, Expo / EAS, React Navigation, and debugging tools (Flipper, React DevTools).
- Native Tooling: Familiarity with Xcode, Android Studio, CocoaPods, and Gradle for native dependency configuration and debugging.
- Offline & Persistence: Experience handling offline caching and mobile persistence (MMKV, WatermelonDB, SQLite, or Realm).
- Version Control: Strong command of Git workflows and agile/scrum methodologies.
