Python GenAI Engineer – GenAI / ML

Location- Pune/ Chennai

Experience: 9+ Years

Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Python GenAI Engineer to build AI/ML-powered solutions for banking use cases. The candidate should be capable of developing working GenAI applications and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop GenAI and ML applications using Python.
  • Build LLM-powered applications, AI agents, automation workflows and intelligent services.
  • Develop and optimize prompts, AI workflows and model interaction patterns.
  • Integrate AI services with enterprise APIs, databases and backend applications.
  • Evaluate AI outputs, implement testing strategies and improve solution reliability.
  • Develop scalable, secure and production-ready AI solutions in collaboration with architecture and engineering teams.Required Skills
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python development.
  • Hands-on experience building GenAI/LLM-based applications.
  • Understanding of Machine Learning concepts and AI application development.
  • Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, AI agents and AI workflows.
  • Strong REST API/backend development experience.
  • Excellent hands-on coding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to convert AI concepts into working prototypes and production solutions.
  • Banking / Financial Services experience is preferred.Good to Have: Full Stack development, React, Angular, UI technologies and Google ADK.
