Job Description

Enterprise Engineering designs, builds, and supports Oracle's mission-critical enterprise applications and platforms that power internal business operations. Our teams develop scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions, modernize existing applications, and deliver innovative capabilities using cloud-native technologies.

As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. You will work on enterprise applications, APIs, microservices, and system integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.

The role also provides opportunities to work with emerging AI/ML and Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and intelligent automation to enhance enterprise applications and business processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python, with solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications, REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
  • Good understanding of SQL, relational databases, cloud technologies, and software architecture principles.
  • Experience with debugging, unit testing, version control, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-assisted development tools is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise software applications.
  • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Develop and enhance backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations using Java, Python, and modern cloud technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex software defects, optimize application performance, and ensure production stability.
  • Improve software architecture, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Develop automated tests, conduct code reviews, and follow software engineering, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Contribute to AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives by integrating intelligent capabilities into enterprise applications.
