Browser Extension Developer : Build DLP for the AI era : Bangalore

We’re a fast-growing AI security startup backed by top Silicon Valley investors, helping enterprises adopt AI applications and agents safely. We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to own our browser extension, the control point where users interact with AI tools.

What you’ll own:

🔹 Architecture and development of a secure, performant browser extension for Chrome, Edge, and other major browsers (Manifest V3)

🔹 DOM content extraction and manipulation across dynamic web interfaces, including leading AI tools

🔹 Integrations with AI web apps, handling rich-text editors, streaming responses, and frequent UI changes

🔹 Secure interaction with web content and backend services

🔹 Close collaboration with endpoint agent and backend teams

🔹 Staying ahead of evolving browser APIs and security standards

You’re a great fit if you have:

✅ 6+ years of software engineering experience, with strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills

✅ Hands-on experience building production browser extensions (Manifest V3, service workers, content scripts, messaging patterns)

✅ Deep understanding of the browser security model: isolated worlds, permissions, CSP, and secure communication boundaries

✅ Technical leadership, with the ability to lead designs, mentor others, and work self-sufficiently

✅ Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Good to have:

Prior experience building DLP, DSPM, insider threat, or enterprise security and compliance tooling
