About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and designers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our products and services, ensuring they meet the needs of our users and the demands of the market. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, utilize cutting-edge technologies, and make a significant impact on our company`s success.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Node.js, Python and related technologies.
Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, utilizing a MERN stack.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development.
Work with RabbitMQ for message queuing.
Design and implement scalable systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in backend software development.
Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
