Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based applications and services.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Design and optimize database structures, queries, and data access layers.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
  • Strong expertise in Laravel or modern PHP frameworks
  • Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and MVC architecture
  • Advanced experience with MySQL (query optimization, indexing, schema design)
  • Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Proven experience with Git and collaborative workflows
  • Experience writing unit, integration, and feature tests
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
