Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Associate – Web Developer with hands-on experience in JavaScript, React.js, HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices.

The candidate will work on developing and maintaining SaaS applications, building responsive user interfaces, integrating APIs, debugging issues, and implementing new application features. The role involves working closely with senior developers, designers, and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in frontend development, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to use AI-assisted development tools effectively while validating the generated code.

Knowledge of WordPress is an added advantage but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript.
  • Build reusable components and responsive user interfaces.
  • Convert UI/UX designs into functional, pixel-accurate web interfaces.
  • Integrate REST APIs and third-party services into applications.
  • Manage application state, props, hooks, forms, and user interactions.
  • Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues and API integration errors.
  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and secure code.
  • Work with backend developers on API integration and data flow.
  • Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Antigravity, ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to improve productivity.
  • Validate AI-generated code through testing, debugging, and code review rather than accepting suggestions blindly.
  • Learn and work with new frameworks, libraries, and technologies as required.
  • Support WordPress-based projects when necessary, if the candidate has relevant experience.

Required Skills

  • 1–2 years of practical web development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive web development.
  • Hands-on experience with React.js, including components, props, state, hooks, and component lifecycle concepts.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, and API error handling.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous JavaScript, promises, async/await, and error handling.
  • Understanding of reusable component architecture and frontend application structure.
  • Experience debugging with browser developer tools.
  • Familiarity with Git, branches, commits, and pull requests.
  • Basic understanding of backend development, authentication, and database concepts.
  • Experience using AI coding tools and validating generated code.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and explain the reasoning behind technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or other modern styling frameworks.
  • Exposure to Node.js, Express.js, PHP, or other backend technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Understanding of authentication mechanisms, including JWT, sessions, and cookies.
  • Familiarity with Docker and cloud deployment concepts.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and frontend debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of WordPress, theme customization, or plugin development.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development practices.

  • Practical Application Development: Ability to implement working features from requirements and UI/UX designs.
  • API Integration: Ability to connect frontend components with APIs and handle loading, success, and error states.
  • Debugging and Problem-Solving: Ability to identify root causes and implement effective fixes.
  • AI-Assisted Development: Ability to use AI tools effectively while validating code correctness and security.
  • Code Quality: Ability to write reusable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
  • Responsive Design: Ability to ensure applications work correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Note: Strong JavaScript and React.js fundamentals are the primary selection criteria. WordPress experience is optional and should not influence shortlisting negatively when the candidate demonstrates strong application development skills.
