Senior Developer – Adobe Commerce Frontend / Magento UI

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento) frontend development. The ideal candidate will have a frontend-first engineering background, with experience building scalable, responsive commerce applications and modern storefront experiences.

The preferred technology combination includes Magento UI / Next.js, and Node.js / TypeScript. The role offers opportunities to work across traditional Adobe Commerce implementations, headless commerce, composable commerce integrations, and middleware/BFF services.

Candidates with experience in Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service (ACCS), and Knockout.js will be preferred.

The candidate should also be comfortable using Claude and Claude Code as development productivity tools, with the ability to review, validate, test, and secure AI-generated code before production use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Commerce / Magento frontend applications.
  • Build and customize Magento themes, layouts, templates, UI components, and responsive user experiences.
  • Develop modern storefronts using React.js and Next.js.
  • Integrate frontend applications with commerce platforms, APIs, and backend services.
  • Contribute to headless and composable commerce implementations.
  • Work with Knockout.js and Magento UI components where applicable.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, architects, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver scalable commerce solutions.
  • Use Claude and Claude Code for code generation, debugging, refactoring, test creation, documentation, and technical investigation.
  • Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability, performance, and security.
  • Follow frontend engineering best practices and ensure high-quality, production-ready code.Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in frontend development.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Commerce / Magento frontend development.
  • Experience with Magento themes, layouts, templates, UI components, and responsive design.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices.
  • Experience with React.js and/or Next.js.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs and frontend integration patterns.
  • Experience with Knockout.js in Magento implementations.Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service (ACCS).
  • Experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Exposure to headless and composable commerce architectures.
  • Experience using Claude and Claude Code in software development workflows.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices, automated testing, debugging, and code quality validation.Candidate Profile

We are specifically looking for frontend-focused Adobe Commerce / Magento developers who can build and customize commerce storefronts and contribute to modern frontend architectures.

Important: Backend-focused developers without strong Magento frontend expertise will not be considered.
