AI Product Owner - Agentic AI | Insurance / BFSI | Gurugram

About the client: A leading insurance company is building out its Enterprise AI & Decision Intelligence function and is hiring AI Product Owners to drive Agentic AI adoption across the business.

Location: Gurugram (work from office, 5 days a week)

Experience: 5–12 years (hiring at Manager and Senior Manager levels)

Notice period: Immediate to 30 days preferred

The role

You will be the bridge between business stakeholders and AI delivery teams – identifying, prioritising and delivering AI-powered use cases and AI agents that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and shape enterprise AI use cases aligned to business priorities, and define success criteria and KPIs
• Design Agentic AI workflows – break business processes into agent tasks, orchestration flows, decision points, guardrails and human-in-the-loop escalations
• Own and prioritise the AI product backlog based on business value, ROI, feasibility, compliance and operational risk
• Translate business requirements into AI user stories, agent workflows and sprint-ready requirements
• Act as the single point of contact between business owners and AI delivery pods; run requirement workshops with business, operations, risk, compliance and technology teams
• Work with AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Architects through solution reviews, UAT, pilots and production rollout
• Ensure solutions follow Responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, explainability, auditability) and enterprise data privacy, security and compliance standards
• Define data requirements and feedback loops with data teams
• Track value realised – automation %, turnaround time, productivity, customer and employee experience – and drive adoption and change management

What we are looking for

• 5–12 years in Product Management, Product Ownership, Digital Transformation or AI programs
• Hands-on experience delivering GenAI / LLM-based solutions or automation platforms into production
• Strong understanding of AI, GenAI and Agentic AI concepts and enterprise use cases
• Domain experience in Insurance, Banking or Fintech (BFSI) – insurance exposure is a plus
• Familiarity with APIs, enterprise systems and orchestration platforms such as Copilot Studio, Pega, LangChain or CrewAI
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and working with cross-functional AI or analytics teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
