Role Description

The Senior Data Science Educator will design and deliver high-impact, placement-focused data science learning experiences for undergraduate and graduate students. This full-time, on-site role is based in Coimbatore and involves planning curricula, creating lesson plans, and teaching concepts in statistics, machine learning, data analysis, and programming through interactive classes, masterclasses, and bootcamps. The educator will develop and refine learning materials, assessments, projects, and case studies that align with industry expectations and hiring standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring learners, reviewing project work, providing feedback, and tracking learner progress to ensure strong placement outcomes. The role also includes collaborating with other educators and product teams to improve content quality, integrate new tools and technologies, and support continuous program enhancement.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong foundations in Science Education, with the ability to connect data science concepts to real-world applications and industry needs.
  • Candidates should possess solid expertise in Mathematics, including statistics, linear algebra, and probability relevant to data science.
  • Candidates should possess experience as a Qualified Teacher or trainer, with a track record of effective classroom or cohort-based instruction.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning, curriculum design, and structuring learning paths for diverse learner profiles.
  • Strong knowledge of data science tools and languages (e.g., Python/R, SQL, machine learning libraries) and experience applying them to projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to learners at different levels.
  • Experience in tech education, corporate training, or EdTech, ideally related to data science, analytics, or AI.
  • Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Coimbatore and contribute to a learner-centric, inclusive, and outcome-driven culture.
