Golang Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Go (Golang), backend development, APIs, databases, and building scalable and high-performance applications.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend services while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Golang.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases and ensure efficient data handling and query performance.
• Design and implement scalable and reliable backend architectures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and production bugs.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver new features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding and development standards.
• Work with version control systems and follow structured software development practices.
• Contribute to Agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Golang development.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and a good understanding of Go programming concepts.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and web services.
• Good understanding of SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with database design, queries, and optimization.
• Good knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of concurrency, goroutines, channels, and error handling in Go.
• Experience with backend application development and service-oriented architectures.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Good to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Understanding of application security and performance optimization.
