Role Overview:

• The person will be part of the application development team for a major Insurance client. He/ She will work with different stakeholders to identify application development opportunities and perform cost benefit analysis on the same.
• The role will involve activities including design, build and configuration of applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• The person will also be required to participate actively in brainstorming sessions for improvement opportunities and take it to completion
• A suitable candidate should have 10+years of experience in a similar role and should possess a go -getter attitude. He/ She should be able to deal with ambiguity.
• Experience in life insurance preferred but not mandatory.

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications.
• Implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to design robust and scalable software.
• Must have experience in SDLC.
• Hands on experience on NumPy, Pandas is a must.
• Write efficient SQL queries to interact with databases and perform data manipulation.
• Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies, particularly Pandas and NumPy, to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.
• Utilize Git for version control and Jira for project management to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Keen interest in learning and working with Pandas and NumPy.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
• 5+ years’ experience in application development and automation, preferably in Life Insurance but not mandatory
