Overview

The Payment Gateway Product Manager to take care of design, system, compliance, and to maintain high-throughput, low-latency infrastructure to orchestrate digital transaction lifecycles (including Cards, UPI, EMV/3D-Secure, Schemes, Banking Connect/NBBL, Wallets, etc.) across TSPs, PAs, Bank merchants and core banking platforms. This role operates at the critical intersection of distributed systems engineering, risk mitigation engine design, PCI-DSS/regulatory compliance, and partner API/network integration.

Job Description

  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new network programs in partnership with various Networks such as Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, etc.
  • Deliver product enhancements and new payment capabilities to improve merchant experience and acquiring revenue.
  • Implement network mandates and drive - compliance, certifications, MCC validation, and product readiness.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure timely closure of observations while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Handle both internal and external stakeholders w.r.t audit, risk, regulatory needs.
  • Strengthen operational controls through monitoring, SOPs and reconciliations.
  • Manage and extend operational support for Merchants, TSPs, PAs and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle TSP lifecycle including onboarding, performance reviews, risk assessment and merchant enablement while driving service improvements and partner performance.
  • Optimize TSP and scheme costs through commercial reviews, billing reconciliation and pricing optimization.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Post Graduate/MBA
  • Strong Technical Aptitude with hands-on experience in Data Analytics with minimum 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in digital payments, banking technology, or fintech infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of Indian payment ecosystem and payment rails (UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard) and PA/PG guidelines
  • Overall Work Exp : 7-8 years
