SharePoint, AI & Automation Specialist - AI Transformation Project, BTIS - Enabling Function,

Your Role & Responsibilities

As a SharePoint, AI & Automation Specialist, you will be part of the AI Transformation Project within BTIS - Enabling Function. You will assess the current SharePoint landscape, shape modernization opportunities and design practical AI- and automation-enabled solutions. The role requires a hands-on professional who can bridge legacy SharePoint expertise with modern architecture, integration and intelligent automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical assessment, solution design, and implementation for SPSE and SharePoint 2019.
  • Assess existing SharePoint applications, workflows, customizations, integrations, and dependencies.
  • Define modernization and transformation approaches for existing SharePoint solutions.
  • Identify relevant AI, intelligent search, and automation use cases.
  • Design and integrate AI and automation capabilities within the SharePoint ecosystem.
  • Develop PoCs and technical solutions, and support testing and deployment.
  • Collaborate with business, architecture, security, and infrastructure teams.
  • Prepare required technical and solution documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support for solution risks and dependencies.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in SharePoint engineering, solution architecture, application modernization or enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Server Subscription Edition (SPSE).
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, integrating and supporting enterprise-grade SharePoint solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong expertise in SharePoint 2019 and SPSE, including administration, customization, migration, and modernization.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SPFx, PowerShell, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and .NET/C#.
  • Understanding of AI, intelligent search, workflow automation, and enterprise AI solutions.
  • Exposure to API integrations, and automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint governance, security, permissions, and content management.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
