OPEX Executive – Process Improvement, AI & Automation
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, tech-savvy OPEX Executive who can identify operational inefficiencies, improve business processes and build technology-driven solutions that help our company operate more efficiently.
You will work closely with leadership and different departments to understand how work gets done, identify where time and resources are being wasted, and implement practical solutions using AI, automation and internal tools.
This could involve evaluating a department's workflow to reduce unnecessary manual work, building an internal training academy using existing SOPs, developing dashboards to track performance, or automating repetitive reporting tasks.
We are looking for someone who can take a business problem statement, determine the best way to solve it, and turn it into a working solution quickly. For smaller projects, the expectation is to develop a functional first version within 24–48 hours where the scope permits, then test and improve it based on feedback.
This is a hands-on implementation role. You will be expected to identify problems, build solutions, implement improvements and measure the results — not simply prepare reports or make recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Process Improvement & Time Efficiency
- Evaluate existing company processes across departments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplicated work and unnecessary manual tasks.
- Conduct time-and-motion analysis to understand how long tasks take, where time is being lost and how workflows can be improved.
- Map existing workflows and identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce steps and improve turnaround times.
- Work with department heads and team members to understand operational challenges and identify practical improvements.
- Develop and implement solutions that reduce administrative workload, repetitive tasks and dependency on manual follow-ups.
- Measure the impact of improvements by tracking time saved, productivity, error reduction and process turnaround times.
- Continuously review existing workflows and recommend improvements as the business grows.2. AI-Powered Internal Tools & Systems
- Translate business problem statements into functional internal tools, platforms and systems.
- Build tools such as internal training academies, knowledge hubs, SOP libraries, onboarding portals and operational management systems.
- Use existing company documentation, SOPs and resources to create structured, searchable and user-friendly internal platforms.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development and turn ideas into functional prototypes quickly.
- Test solutions with end users, incorporate feedback and improve usability.
- Take ownership of tools from initial concept through implementation, maintenance and ongoing improvement.3. Internal Dashboards & Backend Development
- Build and maintain internal dashboards for departmental KPIs, business performance, team productivity and operational tracking.
- Develop the underlying data structures, workflows, logic and integrations required to make dashboards functional.
- Connect relevant data sources and internal tools to reduce manual reporting and improve data visibility.
- Update dashboards and systems as business requirements evolve.
- Ensure tools are accurate, reliable, easy to use and appropriately access-controlled.4. AI, Prompt Engineering & Rapid Prototyping
- Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and AI-assisted coding platforms to build, troubleshoot and improve internal solutions.
- Write effective prompts and structured instructions to develop functional tools and automate processes.
- Identify the most appropriate combination of AI tools, no-code platforms, integrations and coding for each problem.
- Experiment with new technologies to find faster and more effective ways of working.
- Validate AI-generated outputs, troubleshoot errors and ensure solutions work as intended.
- Stay informed about emerging AI capabilities and identify opportunities to apply them across the business.5. Workflow Automation & System Integration
- Identify repetitive tasks and manual workflows that can be automated.
- Build automations connecting internal systems, forms, databases, dashboards and reporting tools.
- Reduce manual data entry, duplicated work and unnecessary communication between departments.
- Improve information flow, accountability and visibility across teams.
- Document automated workflows and maintain clear instructions for ongoing use.6. System Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain and improve existing dashboards, internal tools, automations and workflows.
- Respond to changing business requirements and implement updates promptly.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve errors and maintain data accuracy.
- Update SOPs and process documentation whenever workflows change.
- Monitor whether implemented solutions are delivering the intended results.
- Take ownership of the systems you build instead of relying on external developers for routine changes.Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in operations, process improvement, business systems, automation, internal tool development or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience building functional dashboards, internal tools, web applications or automated workflows.
- Practical experience using AI tools to develop and improve digital solutions.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into structured solutions and working prototypes.
- Understanding of workflow mapping, process optimisation, root-cause analysis or time-and-motion analysis.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding, no-code/low-code development or frontend development.
- Understanding of APIs, webhooks, databases, data structures and system integrations.
- Experience with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, ClickUp, Google Sheets, GoHighLevel, n8n, Make or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different departments.
- Understanding of data security, access permissions, testing and system reliability.
- Travel: Must be comfortable travelling between Delhi and Gurgaon as required.Candidates do not need expertise in every tool listed. We value practical building ability, analytical thinking, initiative and speed of execution over familiarity with a specific technology stack.

- Builds quickly: You can develop a functional first version within hours or days rather than spending weeks planning.
- Uses AI effectively: You know how to prompt, build, debug and refine solutions using AI tools.
- Understands systems: You can work with dashboards, data, workflows, integrations and internal processes.
- Takes ownership: You implement solutions rather than stopping at recommendations.
- Measures outcomes: You look for tangible improvements in time, effort, accuracy and productivity.
- Works independently: You need the desired outcome explained, not every individual step prescribed.
- Adapts quickly: You are comfortable with changing priorities and evolving business requirements. What Success Looks Like
