Governide
GovernIDE is an emerging technology organisation focused on training professionals to help teams govern, manage, and improve their software development environments. The company is committed to creating intuitive platforms that streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and support better decision-making in engineering teams. GovernIDE values curiosity, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, product-focused environment. Team members work closely across disciplines to design, test, and refine features that address real-world challenges in modern software development. As the organisation grows, it offers opportunities for interns to contribute to meaningful projects and gain hands-on experience in product and technology.
Role Description The GovernIDE internship role at GovernIDE is a remote position focused on supporting the design, refinement, and documentation of governance-related features within the platform. On a day-to-day basis, the intern collaborates with product, engineering, and operations team members to gather requirements, organise information, and assist in creating clear guidelines and workflows for users. Responsibilities may include conducting basic research on best practices in software governance, drafting simple documentation or process descriptions, testing platform features, and summarising user feedback for the team. The intern is expected to participate in regular virtual check-ins, maintain clear communication about progress, and contribute ideas that improve the usability and clarity of the product. This internship role is designed to provide structured learning, mentorship, and exposure to real product development work while allowing flexibility in a remote environment.
