Growth AI Product Manager
aitainment
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Aitainment is a Bengaluru-based AI EdTech company building a new category: education that feels like entertainment. We are not an early experiment — we are a product people already love:
- 15 lakh+ users on the app and growing.
- 4.5★ rating — real aspirants, real reviews.
- Backed by some of India's top-tier VC funds (we'll share the names when we meet). We have grown fast by doing one thing obsessively well: making exam prep genuinely enjoyable. Now we want someone who can pour fuel on that growth.
We are looking for a Growth Product Manager who owns the full user journey: getting the right users in, and keeping them coming back. You will be one of the most important hires we make this year — a core driver of how fast Aitainment scales.
This is a hands-on, metrics-owning role. You will not just write product specs; you will own acquisition and retention numbers and move them week over week.
What You'll OwnAcquisition
- Own the top of the funnel: installs, signups, and cost per acquisition across channels.
- Design and run growth experiments — onboarding, referrals, viral loops, store optimisation.
- Work closely with marketing and creative on what actually converts (we live and breathe short video).
- Improve the install-to-paid journey so more free users become ₹699 subscribers.Retention
- Own D1, D7 and D30 retention — and the habit loops that drive them.
- Build the hooks that bring users back daily: notifications, streaks, personalised content, re-engagement.
- Reduce churn and lift repeat usage and renewal rates.
- Turn one-time watchers into long-term, paying, engaged aspirants.How you'll work
- Live in the data — Mixpanel, funnels, cohorts — and let it decide what to build next.
- Run a tight experiment cadence: hypothesis → test → read → ship or kill.
- Partner with engineering, design, content and marketing to ship fast.Who We're Looking ForOur ideal candidate comes from a short-video or consumer-tech company and has already solved acquisition and retention at real scale. If you've worked on a product people open every day — a short-video, streaming, social, gaming or consumer app — you'll feel right at home.
You likely have:
- 3+ years as a Product Manager in consumer tech, with a clear growth or retention focus.
- A track record of moving real numbers — you can point to funnels you improved and retention curves you bent upward.
- Short-video instincts — you understand why people watch, scroll, return, and what makes content habit-forming.
- Deep comfort with data — Mixpanel / Amplitude, cohort analysis, A/B testing. You argue with evidence, not opinions.
- A builder's bias — you ship fast, learn faster, and are happy in a lean startup where you own outcomes end to end.
- Strong product sense and the ability to work hand-in-hand with design, content and engineering.Bonus Points
- You've worked on a subscription or freemium consumer product.
- You understand the Indian consumer — Tier 2/3, vernacular, price-sensitive, mobile-first.
- You have a soft spot for education or EdTech, or have been an aspirant yourself.
- You've played with AI tools and are excited about AI-generated content.
- You've owned growth loops that worked without heavy ad spend. Why Join Us
- Real scale, real impact. 15 lakh+ users already — your work is felt by millions of aspirants, not a handful of beta testers.
- Backed by top VCs. Strong institutional backing means resources, runway, and ambition to go big.
- Own your numbers. This is a role with real ownership, not a cog in a big machine. Your experiments ship, your metrics are yours.
- A category being born. AI + education + entertainment is a brand-new space, and you get to help define it.
- A mission that matters. Every aspirant who clears an exam because learning finally clicked — that's the scoreboard.Logistics & How to Apply
