Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI and Django. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing scalable backend architectures, developing high-performance APIs, and working on modern web applications.

While the primary focus of this role is backend development, the candidate should also have working experience with React.js and be comfortable collaborating on full-stack features when required.

The role also involves technical leadership, direct client coordination, understanding business requirements, discussing technical solutions, and providing project updates. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to ensure effective collaboration between clients and the internal development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend applications using Python.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
• Design and implement scalable backend architecture and microservices.
• Lead technical discussions, guide developers, and support technical decision-making.
• Contribute to frontend development using React.js and support full-stack feature development.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Coordinate directly with clients to understand requirements, discuss solutions, and provide project updates.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Ensure clear communication between clients and the development team to align deliverables with client expectations.
• Participate in system design, technical architecture decisions, and code reviews.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs into applications.
• Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team on deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and application releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong expertise in Python backend development.
• Prior experience leading technical discussions or guiding developers is preferred.Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Django frameworks.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, scalable system design, and microservices.

• Proficiency in Git and version control practices.
