Backend Engineer Platform

3–5 years of professional software engineering experience strictly mid-level;

Core Backend Specialist with strong experience in Java + Python, microservices, APIs, databases, Kafka, distributed systems and CI/CD.

Strong production/SaaS experience, with a deep understanding of how backend services are designed, scaled, monitored and operated.

Should have owned a backend service or significant component handling customer traffic, covering design, development, testing and production support.

Strong System Design & OOP fundamentals, including interfaces, concurrency, processes/threads and distributed architecture.

Strong coding, algorithms and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write quality code and consider edge cases/test scenarios.

Strong ownership and communication skills, with good experience in Git/GitHub, code reviews, PRs and Agile/CI/CD. Exposure to AI coding tools like Copilot/Claude is a plus.

Preferred talent pools: Product-based companies, GCCs, FAANG/similar organizations and backend-focused startups. Ideally, candidates should have 2+ years of deep experience within the same backend team/service.
