We are currently seeking a PHP / Vue.js Developer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

PHP / Vue.js Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PHP developer with hands-on Laravel experience and solid front-end proficiency in Vue 3 to join our team for a defined engagement period. This role requires someone who can work across the full stack, contributing to both server-side logic and modern, reactive user interfaces. The ideal candidate can contribute meaningfully from day one with minimal ramp-up time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework
  • Build and maintain dynamic front-end interfaces using Vue 3
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team standards
  • Assist in the deployment and management of applications on AWS infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience and strong proficiency in PHP 8 with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming
  • 5+ years of experience and proficiency in Vue 3, including the Composition API and component-based architecture
  • Experience with RESTful API design and integration
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to assist in software development, including code generation, debugging, and workflow optimization
  • Hands-on experience using Jira for task tracking, sprint management, and project collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with the Laravel framework
  • Basic understanding of AWS services (e.g., ECS, S3, Lambda)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience working with Docker for development, deployment, and environment consistency
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
  • Proficiency in styling front-end web pages using modern CSS, including CSS Grid, Flexbox, custom properties, and other current best practices
