Lead Commercial Analytics, Automation & AI Solutions Engineer

About The Role

Lead Weatherford’s Commercial analytics delivery team and build scalable analytics products, applications, automation and applied AI solutions. Drive Commercial analytics support for Atlas, including the transition from JD Edwards (JDE) to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and CRM modernization—from design and migration through cutover, stabilization and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead team delivery: Provide functional supervision for the Commercial Platforms & Systems Administrator and Commercial Data & Transformation Analyst, covering prioritization, work allocation, coaching, quality reviews and delivery-risk escalation.
  • Drive ERP and CRM transformation: Define Commercial reporting, data, integration, automation, application, AI and control requirements for Atlas and the JDE-to-Oracle Fusion transition. Address CRM modernization across customer, account, opportunity, pricing, contracts, tenders, product and activity data.
  • Own migration readiness: Lead fit-gap assessments, source-to-target mapping, migration, interface testing, UAT, cutover rehearsals, go-live reconciliation, stabilization and approved legacy decommissioning. Establish owners, acceptance criteria, fallback procedures and support arrangements.
  • Build analytics and AI products: Deliver dashboards, Power Apps, automated workflows, data pipelines, semantic models and decision-support tools focused on usability, reliability, reuse, responsible AI and measurable value.
  • Integrate enterprise platforms: Design solutions across Power BI, Alteryx Designer and Server, Power Platform, SQL, Python, Azure or Fabric, SharePoint, Salesforce and other CRM platforms, approved AWS services, JDE, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EDW and WDF.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery: Translate business requirements into governed, production-ready solutions; oversee discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, documentation, training, adoption, enhancement and support transition.
  • Partner across functions: Align technical and business stakeholders on priorities, responsibilities, quality standards and dependencies; communicate decisions and escalate material risks promptly.
  • Uphold governance and quality: Apply Commercial and financial business rules, master-data standards, security roles and controls. Maintain business continuity, service quality and compliance with Weatherford’s Management System, Rules to Live By, HSE, security, environmental and applicable legal requirements; drive continuous improvement and safety leadership.
  • Develop capability and manage resources: Support coaching, performance and career development, succession planning, required training and collaboration with HR on talent attraction and retention. Manage expenses within approved budgets, timelines and financial policies.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience delivering analytics, automation, data engineering, digital products, ERP- or CRM-enabled transformation, or applied AI solutions, including leadership of complex projects or a small functional team.
  • Advanced hands-on Power BI and Alteryx expertise, plus working experience with Power Platform, SQL, Python, Azure or Fabric, SharePoint, Salesforce or another CRM, AWS, JDE, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EDW or WDF.
  • Experience leading reporting, integration, data, automation, testing, cutover, stabilization or adoption within an ERP or CRM transformation.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into governed, production-ready solutions with measurable outcomes, supported by strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities independently, allocate work, coach technical professionals, review delivery quality, influence stakeholders and escalate risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

  • Strong focus on data quality, security, controls, supportability and business continuity; ability to connect business stakeholders with technical delivery teams and work across global teams and flexible time zones.
  • Experience with JDE-to-Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transitions, Oracle Fusion data and reporting, Salesforce or CRM modernization, and cross-platform integration.
  • Experience applying generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), intelligent document processing, machine learning or advanced analytics.
  • Commercial, pricing, contracts, tenders, sales, finance, supply chain or operational analytics experience within a global enterprise.
  • Relevant certification in Alteryx, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, AWS, Oracle, Salesforce, business analysis or program delivery.
  • Experience leading globally distributed technical teams or communities of practice.
