We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, and SQL, with the ability to build robust backend services, integrate with modern frontend applications, and support analytics-driven business solutions. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-performance applications, dashboard solutions, authentication frameworks, and enterprise-grade integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • Build, optimize, and manage database-driven applications leveraging SQL technologies.
  • Develop and support enterprise applications that integrate with frontend platforms built using React and JavaScript.
  • Design and implement secure API integrations for seamless communication between systems and services.
  • Support BI360 dashboards, analytics platforms, and data visualization solutions through backend services and integrations.
  • Implement authentication and authorization frameworks including Single Sign-On (SSO), JOSSO, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Support customer onboarding and multi-tenant application environments.
  • Manage application-level user access and support Linux user and group management activities where required.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to design and deliver new capabilities.
  • Develop reusable APIs, utilities, and framework components to improve maintainability and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot application, API integration, authentication, database, and performance-related issues.
  • Conduct code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, production support, and issue resolution activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and implementation guides.

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in software development using Python.
  • Strong expertise in Python programming and backend application development.
  • Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience integrating backend applications with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms including SSO, JOSSO, OAuth, JWT, and RBAC.
  • Experience working with enterprise-grade multi-tenant applications.
  • Working knowledge of Linux environments, user management, and system administration concepts.
  • Strong understanding of API lifecycle management and integration best practices.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frontend integration concepts.
  • Understanding of application security, secure coding practices, and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Experience with Git, source control management, code reviews, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within distributed Agile teams.
