Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Kochi. As a Lead Engineer, you guide the technical side of our client projects and make sure what we ship is clean, tested and reliable. You work with our Solution Architect on design, and lead a team of full-stack developers.

Qualifications

  • Build features across React frontends and Node.js backends, and set the standard.
  • Strong expertise in software engineering, including system design, architecture, and hands-on development with modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices for quality, performance, and security.
  • Proficiency with AI/ML integration, data-driven applications, or working closely with data and AI teams to build intelligent solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines for scalable, high-availability systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders, translating requirements into technical roadmaps and deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to make informed technical decisions in fast-paced environments.

What we are looking for

  • About 5 years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer, with at least 1 year leading or mentoring others.
  • Strong React and Node.js experience, including REST API design.
  • Solid experience with relational database, including schema design and query performance.
  • Hands-on AWS experience: deploying and running services (for example ECS, S3, CloudFront, RDS) and setting up CI/CD with GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Comfort writing tests and doing thoughtful code reviews.
  • Clear written and spoken English. You can explain a technical decision to a non-technical client.
  • Ownership mindset: you care about what happens after the code is merged.
