About GVC

At Growth Valley Community, teenagers aged 11 to 17 run real businesses, with real customers and real revenue. They work in small pods with mentors who are alumni of leading universities, and every student’s growth is measured and shown to their parents. Our line is simple: most programmes promise, we document.

The role

You’ll be one of the first engineers building the software behind that promise. It’s a small team, so you own features from idea to production, and real students and parents use your work within days.

What you’ll build

  • Growth Graph: the system that tracks each student’s progress across behavioural measures, turns it into dashboards and reports parents can read, and warns mentors early when a child is drifting.
  • AI agents: LLM tools that summarise sessions, draft mentor notes, follow up with families and keep our CRM clean.
  • Parent portal: applications, progress updates and payments in one place, with WhatsApp and email notifications.
  • TecTeenShop: the storefront and tools our students use to run their own online businesses on Shopify.
  • Integrations: connecting CRM, messaging, payments and session data so the whole operation runs on one source of truth.

You’re a fit if you

  • Have shipped full-stack products to real users. Side projects count if people used them.
  • Write solid TypeScript or Python, and are comfortable with React or Next.js, a backend framework and a SQL database.
  • Have built with LLM APIs: prompting, retrieval, tool calling, and checking the output is right, not just that it runs.
  • Can take a vague problem, ask the right questions, ship a first version in days and improve it from real feedback.
  • Take data privacy seriously. You’ll handle information about children.

Good to have

Shopify apps, WhatsApp Business API, Zoho or other CRM integrations, analytics dashboards, or experience at an early-stage startup.
