Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure Data & AI architectures.
  • Define modern data platforms using Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure SQL.
  • Design data ingestion, ETL/ELT, data integration, data modelling, and analytics solutions.
  • Establish data governance, security, privacy, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Provide architecture guidance for scalability, performance, availability, and cost optimization.
  • Work with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, POCs, and solution design activities.
  • Drive cloud modernization and migration of legacy data platforms to Azure.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture / Data Engineering / Cloud Architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services.
  • Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Data Factory, and/or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling, ETL/ELT, and distributed data processing.
  • Strong understanding of Python, SQL, APIs, and cloud integration patterns.
  • Experience with data governance, security, IAM, networking, and Azure architecture best practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and solution-design skills.

Preferred

  • Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Azure Data Engineer Associate / Azure AI Engineer Associate.
  • Experience designing enterprise GenAI/Agentic AI solutions.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, MLOps, and infrastructure-as-code.Experience working with large-scale enterprise data modernization initiatives
