Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Data Analyst to collect, interpret, analyze, and present complex business data to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analytics, SQL, data visualization, and statistical analysis, with the ability to convert business requirements into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models.
- Analyze business performance, customer behavior, sales trends, and operational metrics.
- Use SQL to extract, transform, and manage data from databases.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
- Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Develop automated reporting processes to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform root-cause analysis and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Present analytical findings and insights to management and relevant teams.
- Mentor junior analysts and support the development of analytical best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
- Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with advanced Excel functions and data modeling.
- Understanding of predictive analytics and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of insurance business metrics, claims analysis, policy data, and customer analytics.
