Job Overview

We are migrating a portfolio of TIBCO-based integration services to cloud-native microservices built on Quarkus. Our design team analyses the existing TIBCO code in advance and produces JIRA stories along with design documents that specify the interface details and backend mappings for each service. The developer will take these stories and design documents and build the corresponding Quarkus APIs, working within a Scrum team. Because the engagement is time-bound, we need someone who can work from written specifications and contribute from the first week with minimal ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Work with SQL databases and Hibernate/JPA.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Debug issues and ensure application performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills and Qualification

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Microservices development. - MANDATORY
  • Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and Hibernate/JPA.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be available to join within 3–4 days and work from the office. - MANDATORY
