About the role

We are looking for a Shopify developer who will be responsible for our storefront’s code quality and speed. You’ll build and improve theme features, fix performance bottlenecks, and work with the product and design teams to ship changes that lift conversion on mobile, where most of our traffic comes from.

You’ll be working on -

Build and customize Shopify theme sections, templates and features using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Improve storefront speed: Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP), page weight, render-blocking resources and third-party script load
Audit and clean up apps, scripts and theme code that slow down the store
Optimize images, fonts, lazy loading and asset delivery
Turn Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive, mobile-first pages
Implement and test CRO changes (PDP, cart, checkout-adjacent flows) with the product team
Debug storefront issues and maintain clean, documented, version-controlled code
Integrate and troubleshoot tracking and pixels (GA4, Meta, etc.) without hurting performance

What you bring along - required experience and skill set -

2+ years of experience building on Shopify
Strong command of Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES6+)
Proven experience with speed optimization, ideally with before/after results you can show
Familiarity with Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, Chrome DevTools and WebPageTest
Experience with Shopify theme architecture (Online Store 2.0, sections, blocks, metafields)
Comfortable with Git and Shopify CLI
A mobile-first mindset and an eye for detail
Understanding of SDLC and PMLC
