Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Product Line Director to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a portfolio of semiconductor products. In this role, you will own the business and technical direction of the product line, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer requirements, and company objectives. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, profitability, and innovation across the product lifecycle.

This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills, with experience in semiconductor technologies and global market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Line Strategy: Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product line to meet business objectives and market demands.
  • Business Ownership: Manage P&L for the product line, including pricing strategies, cost optimization, and profitability targets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key customers, understand their requirements, and position products to meet their needs.
  • Ecosystem Development: Establish partnerships with IP vendors, and technology partners to strengthen the product ecosystem.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Drive product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement activities to maximize market penetration.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to product development, supply chain, and market dynamics.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing product management organization.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years in the semiconductor industry, with at least 5 years in product management or business leadership roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of semiconductor technologies, SoC architectures, and market applications.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to manage P&L, develop business strategies, and drive revenue growth.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
