Role Overview:

We are actively seeking a dedicated Head of Data Science to join our growing remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our operations, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering exceptional results within your functional area. The ideal candidate will combine big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on, tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with executive leadership to drive core company milestones.
• Conduct deep-dive research to answer complex operational questions.
• Manage complex departmental budgets, strategic forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.
• Develop, automate, and maintain interactive business intelligence dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong statistical knowledge and experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Highly organized methodology with a strong ability to prioritize effectively.
• High-level proficiency with SQL, Python, Excel, and enterprise BI tools.
• Extensive experience with BI and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Proven comfort and productivity operating in a fully remote, distributed environment.
