Role Description The SVP / Head – Enterprise Analytics & Decision Science is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Mumbai, responsible for shaping FatakPay’s data, analytics, and decision science strategy across the enterprise. This role oversees the design and implementation of advanced analytics frameworks, customer segmentation, and product performance analytics, ensuring data-driven decision-making for lending, investments, insurance, and user experience. The leader will manage and mentor cross-functional data and analytics teams, collaborate with product, technology, and business stakeholders, and translate complex insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership. Daily responsibilities include defining analytics roadmaps, setting data governance and quality standards, driving experimentation and A/B testing, and implementing scalable reporting and dashboards that support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. The SVP / Head will also stay current on emerging analytics and AI/ML techniques to strengthen FatakPay’s competitive edge and support responsible, inclusive growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in enterprise analytics and decision science, including experience with credit risk modeling, portfolio analytics, and customer lifecycle analysis.
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python/R, BI tools, data warehousing platforms) and experience working with large-scale, complex data sets.
  • Background in AI/ML methods such as predictive modeling, scoring, recommendation systems, and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, uplift modeling).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute data strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks that support business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing analytics, data science, and BI teams, with a collaborative and inclusive management style.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Significant experience in fintech, financial services, consumer lending, or a related data-driven domain; exposure to Indian financial regulations and credit bureau data is advantageous.
  • Advanced academic background such as a Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field
