Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and third-party systems. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of integration technologies, middleware platforms, API development, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain system-to-system integrations.
Build and manage REST APIs, SOAP web services, and API connections.
Integrate enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, and third-party systems.
Work with middleware and integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, IBM App Connect, or Azure Integration Services.
Develop data mappings, transformations, and validation processes.
Monitor integration workflows, troubleshoot failures, and resolve production issues.
Implement authentication and security mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and API keys.
Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
Prepare technical documentation and follow integration best practices.
Required Skills
Strong experience in application and system integration.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.
Knowledge of middleware or enterprise integration platforms.
Experience with SQL databases and data transformation.
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, IBM App Connect, or Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture, messaging queues, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
