Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong cloud-based application development experience and hands-on AWS expertise. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Python programming, cloud-native application development, REST API development, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance applications on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications on AWS.
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and related cloud services.
• Design and implement secure, reliable, and scalable cloud architectures.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Use Docker and CI/CD pipelines for application packaging, deployment, and release management.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• Python Development: Strong hands-on experience in Python application development.
• AWS Cloud: Strong practical experience developing, deploying, and managing applications on AWS.
• Backend Development: Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• API Development: REST API design, development, and integration.
• Microservices: Experience building scalable and maintainable backend services.
• Database: Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Testing & Debugging: Unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization.
• Version Control: Git and collaborative development practices.

Good-to-Have Skills

• AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, ECS, and CloudWatch.
• Docker and containerized application deployment.
• CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
• Event-driven architecture and message queues.
• AWS security, monitoring, logging, and cost optimization.

Required Experience

• 7 11 years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
• Minimum 1+ year of hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• Proven experience developing and deploying cloud-based applications.
• Candidates should have strong development experience, not just AWS infrastructure or support experience.
