Role Description The Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support Jobfixnow’s recruitment and career services platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing back-end features and APIs, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with product, design, and operations teams to deliver user-focused functionality. The role involves reviewing requirements, participating in code reviews, improving system performance and security, and contributing to documentation and technical standards. This is a full-time remote role, requiring regular communication, adherence to development best practices, and proactive ownership of assigned projects.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
  • Candidates should possess solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application in designing scalable solutions.
  • Candidates should possess experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to debug and optimize code.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Relevant academic background (e.g., degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field) or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices is an advantage.
