Position: ServiceNow Developer / Functional Consultant

Experience: 5+ years in IT, including 3–4+ years on ServiceNow

Engagement: 6-month contract (extendable)

Location: Work from Bangalore Office

Working hours: Overlap with UAE business hours (GST, UTC+4)

Platform: ServiceNow, Australia release; native Source-to-Pay (S2P) application

Client: Confidential – large UAE industrial group

Role Summary

Configure and develop S2P business workflows on ServiceNow and translate procurement requirements into working solutions as part of a two-person offshore team. The role covers Tender, eAuction and MRO workflows, Performance Analytics dashboards, user-experience improvements and testing support, working alongside the Technical Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and clarify functional requirements with procurement, Vendor Management and buyer stakeholders; write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Configure and develop S2P workflows: supplier amendments, bank-detail change approvals, screening tasks, Tender, eAuction (reverse/forward) and MRO request processing.
• Build approval flows, notifications and email templates; standardize communication across Supplier, Tender and Auction processes.
• Design and build Performance Analytics and Platform Analytics dashboards for Supplier Onboarding, Tender and eAuction (indicators, breakdowns, data collection jobs).
• Deliver UX improvements: forms, fields, UI policies, list and search configuration, error messages and task visibility in portal and workspace.
• Support Shopping Hub catalogue and taxonomy configuration.
• Prepare test scenarios, execute functional and regression testing, and build ATF tests where applicable.
• Support UAT sessions, log and triage defects, and track fixes to closure.
• Write functional documentation, process flows, user guides and knowledge articles.Mandatory Skills
• 3–4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow configuration and development.
• Experience with ServiceNow Source-to-Pay / procurement, vendor management or similar workflow-heavy applications.
• Strong Flow Designer, approvals, notifications and form/UI configuration skills.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and Glide APIs (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes).
• Hands-on Performance Analytics / reporting and dashboard development.
• Experience writing test cases and supporting UAT.Desirable Skills
• Understanding of procurement processes: supplier onboarding, RFx/tendering, auctions, purchase requisition to PO.
• Service Portal and Workspace / UI Builder exposure.
• ATF (Automated Test Framework) experience.
• Business analysis background or prior functional consultant role.Certifications
• Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Preferred: Certified Application Developer (CAD); Performance Analytics micro-certification or CIS in a relevant area.Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related field.
