Senior Fullstack Developer
You will be writing real code, contribute to architecture decisions, and work closely with product, legal, and identity engineers to turn regulatory requirements into robust, maintainable systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain consent UIs and preference centres — from custom OneTrust templates to fully bespoke web components when the platform doesn't cut it.
- Develop and maintain JavaScript/TypeScript SDKs and scripts for consent collection, propagation, and enforcement across web properties.
- Collaborate with identity engineers to align consent signals with user profiles and authentication flows.
- Contribute to the full delivery pipeline: local dev → SIT → UAT → production, including CI/CD hooks and automated testing for consent flows.
- Translate regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) into concrete technical specifications — working alongside legal and privacy teams, not waiting for them to hand you a ticket.
- Write clean functional and technical documentation: architecture decisions, API contracts, runbooks, and integration guides.
- Debug and resolve consent-related defects across the stack — from a misconfigured collection point to a broken SDK event.
Requirements
- Strong front-end engineering skills: JavaScript/TypeScript (React/Vue), Node.js, HTML, CSS
- Hands-on experience with the OneTrust platform (not a must), specifically the UCPM / Consent & Preference Management module — configuring templates, forms, consent attributes, and workflows.
- Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs; bonus if you've worked with OneTrust's own API surface.
- Familiarity with event-driven patterns for propagating consent signals across services (webhooks, queues, or event streams).
- Comfortable working across the stack — from crafting a consent banner interaction to wiring up a backend integration.
Nice to have
- Experience with identity platforms (Auth0 / Okta CIC) and how consent integrates with CIAM flows.
- Familiarity with Java — part of our current backend stack is Java-based, and occasional cross-team collaboration may touch it.
- Experience with multi-region consent implementations across different regulatory jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts: data mapping, RoPAs, data inventories.
- Prior experience with a CDP or CRM platform (Salesforce, Segment, mParticle) from an integration standpoint
