Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a UX Designer / Java Developer. The role involves collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to design intuitive user experiences and translate them into robust Java-based applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating user flows, wireframes, and interface designs, implementing front-end and back-end features, and refining solutions based on user feedback and usability testing. The position requires writing clean, maintainable code, ensuring performance and security, and participating in code reviews and design discussions. The role also includes documenting technical and design decisions, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of design, development, and delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in user experience design, including user research, information architecture, interaction design, and creating wireframes or prototypes.
• Proficiency in Java development, including object-oriented programming, core Java concepts, and building scalable applications.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern UI frameworks) to implement user interfaces.
• Knowledge of software development practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and agile or iterative methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical and design solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and present design or technical decisions clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Design, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with usability principles, accessibility guidelines, and user-centered design; experience in enterprise or product-based environments is an advantage.
