We are looking for a passionate Backend Engineer to design and build scalable, highperformance distributed systems. In this role, you will be working on the core of our product,

handling high-throughput data processing, real-time caching strategies, and event-driven

architecture. You will be instrumental in migrating our legacy systems to modern

microservices using .NET Core and PostgreSQL, leveraging Redis for low-latency caching

and Kafka for reliable asynchronous communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and deploy robust microservices

using .NET Core (C#) .

  • Data Persistence: Implement complex data models and optimize database queries

using Entity Framework Core with PostgreSQL.

  • Caching Strategy: Architect caching layers using Redis to ensure sub-millisecond

response times for frequently accessed data (distributed caching, session

management).

  • Event-Driven Systems: Build producers and consumers for high-volume event

streaming using Apache Kafka (handling exactly-once semantics and partition

management).

  • Performance Tuning: Optimize SQL queries, LINQ expressions, and application

performance to handle massive concurrent users.

  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code (Unit/Integration testing)

adhering to SOLID principles.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps to containerize applications

(Docker/Kubernetes) and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Required Technical Skills

  • .NET Core: 3+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET 8+. Deep

understanding of ASP.NET Core Web API, Middleware, Dependency Injection, and

Async/Await patterns.

  • Entity Framework: Strong proficiency with EF Core (Code-First, Migrations,

LINQ, and performance tuning). Experience writing raw SQL for complex stored

procedures is a plus.

  • PostgreSQL: Solid experience with PostgreSQL (or similar RDBMS). Ability to

design normalized schemas, perform query execution plan analysis, and manage

indexes.

  • Redis: Hands-on experience with Redis for caching, rate limiting, and distributed

locking. Familiarity with Redis Stack (JSON, Search) is a bonus.

  • Kafka: Proven experience with Apache Kafka.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana)
  • Experience with Event Sourcing or CQRS pattern
