## Role Summary We are looking for a skilled

• Looker Developer/Test Engineer** to support the development, testing, and deployment of Looker dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dashboard development, validating migrated and converted reporting assets, performing unit testing, managing defect resolution, supporting deployments, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure high-quality analytics solutions.

## Key Responsibilities - Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Looker. - Translate business requirements into scalable and user-friendly reporting solutions. - Perform unit testing and validation of dashboards, LookML models, and reporting assets. - Validate converted or migrated BI assets to ensure data accuracy, report consistency, and functional completeness. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects across development, testing, and production environments. - Execute data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure reporting accuracy. - Collaborate with business users, developers, data engineers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. - Support deployment activities and promote reporting artifacts across environments. - Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and resolution. - Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and project documentation. - Monitor dashboard performance and recommend optimization improvements. - Ensure adherence to development standards, quality processes, and governance guidelines.

## Required Skills - Strong experience with Looker and LookML development. - Experience in dashboard development, report creation, and data visualization. - Proficiency in SQL and database querying. - Experience in testing BI applications, dashboards, and reporting solutions. - Knowledge of data validation, defect management, and quality assurance processes. - Understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts. - Experience working with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure Synapse. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
